I'm Liz Bouzianis George, the baker behind
Golden Swan Sweets.
I've been baking since my school days. In fact, the basic cake recipe I use today is the same one my mother taught me to make. Since then, I've learned most of what I know through trial and error, experimenting, and spending hours learning from other bakers on YouTube. Luckily, my cakes have come a long way since this marshmallow flower- covered masterpiece I made for my mother!
Today I am a mother of four and grandmother of four, and we all enjoy baking and decorating together. I am also a former high school teacher, breast cancer survivor, jewelry maker and lover of sim beautiful things. Each time I make a new recipe or design a new project, I learn something new about the process and about myself!
Starting a bakery has always been a dream of mine. Baking is one of the ways I bring beauty and joy into the world, and that brings me joy!

Whether it's cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, or the traditional Lebanese and Greek recipes handed down through my family for generations, I always enjoy creating delicious desserts for my family and friends.
What's equally as wonderful? Passing along these traditions by teaching new generations of bakers.
My philosophy is that baking, and design in general, doesn't have to be overloaded and heavy. A dessert doesn't have to be overly sweet or covered in excessive decorations.
It just has to be simply beautiful and delicious.
